Do you travel?
Travel within the Black Hills is free up to 55 miles from Rapid City, SD (my home). This includes Rapid City, Hill City, Keystone, Lead/Deadwood, Belle Fourche, Custer, Spearfish, Sturgis, and more. Locations such as Hot Springs and Edgemont, although in the Black Hills region, are over 55 miles away and are subject to a travel fee. Outside of the Black Hills is based on mileage - and lodging or airfaire (if needed).

How many photos do we get?
Depends on the package! Check out my investment page for more information.
How do we get our photos?
You will get a link to an online gallery which is available for 6 months.
Do you retouch photos?
I retouch anything distracting or minor blemishes. Extensive retouching (skin resurfacing, whitening of teeth, etc.) is not done unless specifically requested ahead of time.
What is your turn around time?
For portraits, about 2 weeks. Often less than that.
For weddings, 4-6 weeks depending on size of final gallery.

How far out do you book?
Because I am not full time, my schedule is often open. I ask that you book me 2 weeks in advance of your requested date for regular portraits, and 3 months for weddings.
What should we do before a session?
Plan your outfit, make sure you have payment ready, plan what props (chairs, flowers, momentos, signs, etc.) you'd like to bring (if any), book any nail or hair appointments if you want, and make sure you've signed the portrait agreement I sent you!
What should we wear?
Whatever makes you feel comfortable and stylish. You should feel like yourself.
For groups, solid colors or mild/quiet patterns are best. Matching is fine, but photos look more natural if everyone is wearing something a little different. Pick a color theme (blues, greens, earth tones, or neutrals often work best). Avoid neon colors, high contrast patterns, and most animal prints.
What is your availability?
Most weekends are open. This isn't my full-time gig, actually! Weekdays are possible in summer when the days are long.
Are you accomodating to disabilities or special needs?
YES. Aboslutely yes. Please let me know if you need any sort of accommodation so I can choose a location that best fits your needs. I have a lot of experience with people of all ability levels. I will even come to your home if that is the most comfortable. I have worked with wheelchairs/walkers, the elderly, children with autism, children with ADHD, and more. Your comfort matters more than my time. Let me know if you or someone with you will need frequent breaks to rest or play.
Will you come to our home?
Absolutely! Let me know in your inquiry message that you would prefer this.
Do you do styled or model sessions?
Yes! Please contact me with your ideas. I'm always looking to try out new poses/ideas. Model calls are always trade-for-payment. You get photos in exchange for your time, or we can do other trades. The sky's the limit!
